Snow has wreaked havoc in some areas of the country.Thousands of people will not receive Christmas gifts ordered via the internet, as snow and icy conditions have caused havoc with the postal service.A Royal Mail spokeswoman said the majority of parcels have or will be delivered but treacherous conditions in some parts of the country have meant some will not arrive in time for Christmas. While some roads are inaccessible to delivery vans, some postmen have been told not to deliver items to certain streets due to health and safety concerns."More than 95 per cent of Royal Mail's operation is working completely normally but, in a very small number of areas, some deliveries have been subject to disruption as the severe weather and road conditions mean that we cannot get to some addresses safely," the representative added.Areas which have seen parcel deliveries delayed include the Sevenoaks region in Kent, the South Wales and Gwent Valleys and Northampton. How has the weather affected your parcel deliveries?
