A new online shopping site featuring clothes ranges from a host of celebrities, including Peaches Geldof and Fearne Cotton, has been launched.

Parcels could soon be being delivered across the country from a new online shopping site launched by celebrity best pals Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby.

Hoping to take advantage of the recent surge in online shopping, Very.co.uk was created by the Shop Direct Group, which was behind Littlewoods, and features designs by famous faces such as Caprice, Jasmine Guinness and Peaches Geldof, as well as Fearne's debut fashion range.

In addition, web surfers can use the site to order clothes from high street favourites such as Oasis, French Connection and Miss Selfridge.

The new venture is aimed at a younger online shopper, aged between 25 and 45 with a young family.

It also hopes to be an online community, where buyers can join the celebrities and product 'insiders' in giving opinions and reviews of products.

Last month, eBay's Second Online Business Index found that 57 per cent of web-based firms expect sales to rise in the next quarter, marking a four per cent increase on the previous three months.
