More than 20,000 pieces of mail were hoarded by a postman. Two brothers have revealed that they have received concert tickets through the post more than four years after the gig took place.Patrick and Neil Eyles have told the Stockport Express they ordered tickets to see Bowling for Soup at the Manchester Academy in 2005, but they never arrived. It was discovered that they were among 20,000 other pieces of mail which were found at a former postal worker's house. The Royal Mail began delivering the letters and parcels three weeks ago, many without an explanation or apology.Patrick told the newspaper that his brother also received a memory card he asked for in 2005."I couldn't believe it the other day when they arrived in with all the other post. My brother Neil got a package that should have been delivered in September 2005 - a memory card for an old phone. He's had five phones since then," he said.Meanwhile, several members of the public have contacted the Daily Telegraph to complain about postmen posting "Sorry, you were out cards" through the letterbox when they were, in fact, at home.Written by Mark MooreArticle Added: 07/10/2009 16:47:19
