An angry bodybuilder reveals his frustration with Royal Mail.A member of the public has revealed his shock at receiving mail this week containing the rules to a competition which took place over five months ago.The man, from Burgh, was due to take part in a contest held by the British Natural Bodybuilding at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow but the required documentation did not arrive in time, the Helensburgh Advertiser reports. As the letter did not reach him in time, he decided against entering the competition, the newspaper adds.Royal Mail included a letter of apology with the delayed delivery, explaining why there was a hold up in it reaching its destination."The cause of the problem has been identified and is likely to be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal. Please accept my apology on behalf of Royal Mail for the obvious concern and inconvenience you have been caused," the letter said.Public opinion of Royal Mail has slumped in recent months with the YouGov BrandIndex showing the company's Buzz, which measures whether people have heard positive or negative things about the firm, fell to a low of -14 in September.Written by Sarah GowerArticle Added: 20/11/2009 09:32:27
