An eBay app for the Blackberry has been made available following a successful trial in North America.
Ordering a parcel delivery from eBay could be set to get even easier after a BlackBerry eBay app was launched in six more countries, including the UK and Australia.
Research in Motion and eBay jointly announced the app, which allows Blackberry users to search, bid, buy and check their activity wherever they are.
Additionally, users can add eBay-related reminders to their Blackberry calendars and sort search results by distance to get the best parcel delivery options.
Following a successful beta trial period in North America, the app will now be offered in Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK.
"With BlackBerry's Push Service and multi-tasking technology, eBay buyers and sellers are able to stay up-to-date on great deals and sales," said Steve Yankovich, vice-president of platform business solutions and mobile at eBay.
It follows news that eBay has acquired barcode-scanning iPhone app RedLaser, allowing customers to find the best deals online even more quickly than before.
