Bingo sites will migrate to social media, it is claimed.
Brands using parcel delivery and courier services to ship goods to customers may want to turn their social media attention to bingo.
Bingo is perfectly suited to social networking and 2011 will see a migration of gaming websites onto social platforms, according to betting journalist Richard Preen.
"A lot of betting firms are looking at [social networks] and have an interest in certain areas such as Facebook," he explained.
"With bingo, the social appeal means it can migrate more easily", noted Mr Preen, adding that this is harder for more traditional types of gambling like sports betting.
He went on to say that there is currently a "big push" in smartphone technology for gaming sites.
"The whole of the betting industry, including bingo, is trying to get their products working successfully on smartphones," noted Mr Preen.
A poll by whichbingo.co.uk saw Sun Bingo being voted the best bingo site of 2010, with competitions such as a giveaway of 30 new cars in 30 days cited by the website as key to its popularity among punters.
