David Beckham's car has sold on eBay.

After days of bidding on the TVR Cerbera pushed the price well above its book value, David Beckham's old car has been sold for over £71,000.

The car had been listed on eBay, with the seller - not the Beckhams, but someone who bought it in 2004 - offering to arrange worldwide parcel delivery for whoever bid the highest.

Eventually, after 62 bids on the custom-made sports car it went for £71,350 when the auction came to a close at 11:13 BST on Saturday.

The 2000 Cerbera, from British sports car manufacturer TVR had been specially made for the Beckhams, with Victoria choosing the rare Crystal Topaz finish to the paintwork.

Fitted with a 4.5 litre V8 engine, the racer can hit 60mph in just 3.8 seconds and can do a whopping 195mph when pushed to the limit.

The car has been garaged for the last six years since the couple sold it, doing just 100 miles in that time.
