A Flintshire post office has been forced to close its doors after the building's owner was served with a bankruptcy order.Bagillt Post Office in Flintshire was force to close its doors last Wednesday after the building owner had a bankruptcy order made against him in court.The Daily Post reports that the shop has shut for the time being, causing disruption to the many local people who utilise its services.Bagillt West councillor Mike Reece told the news provider: "It's a disaster for pensioners who rely on its services. It'll be very difficult for some of the elderly to walk as far as the Riverbank branch, or to catch the bus to Flint or Holywell."A Post Office spokesperson added that it is in discussion with the subpostmistress regarding future provision of services.Last week, it was reported by the Hull Daily Mail that the post office in Sutton, Hull, will close its doors in October when the current subpostmaster retires.
