Royal Mail says it is doing its best to open a new Post Office.The people of Arborfield are no closer to getting a new Post Office, despite the fact that the old one closed its doors more than 12 months ago.In September last year, the village Post Office at Arborfield Stores in Eversley Road closed and a bus service to take the elderly to the Arborfield Garrison Post Office cancelled after only one person used it, getwokingham reports.A search for a new site is underway but no decision has yet been made, meaning local people will have to use the services of Post Office alternatives for their parcel delivery needs."We continue to work in the area to introduce a replacement service but this is, unfortunately, taking some time.
