Amazon UK is the best online retailer for customer satisfaction, a new poll has found.
According to a study conducted by ForeSee Results, the company came top for functionality, price, merchandise and content with an overall score of 83.
Play.com came second with 79 points ahead of QVC UK with 78, while the worst performing online retailers were Ticketmaster and B&Q with 65 points each.
Overall customer satisfaction scores are up six per cent, despite a tough year for many firms.
Larry Freed, chief executive officer of ForeSee Results, said online retailers who did well cannot afford to rest on their laurels.
"While these numbers are certainly a huge step in the right direction, companies who saw improvements run the risk of being lulled into a false sense of security. There is still a long way to go with the UK's numbers still trailing the US by ten per cent," he added.
Online retailer Ocado reported record sales over the Christmas period, with the company seeing sales rise by 30 per cent.
