An Irish student has opted to sell his study notes on eBay in an effort to fund his college course. An A-grade student from Ireland has made the controversial decision to sell his Leaving Certificate qualification notes on eBay.Interested students keen to take advantage of the offer, which includes some books, can do so if they are willing to fork out €40 (£32), plus parcel delivery costs.Speaking to the Irish Times about his decision, 18-year-old Cillian Fahy explained that his decision was motivated by a need to finance his further education studies. He told the newspaper: "With the economy the way it is, students are finding financing college very tough. It was even hard to find a part-time job this summer, it was desperate."I would be happy if what I have done encourages other students to do the same."In a separate interview with the Irish Independent, Gary Redmond of the Union of Students in Ireland indicated that people that pay for Leaving Cert notes "will do better" than other pupils.
