Save time by storing credit card details
Parcel2Go.com has introduced a new facility for storing credit card details.
Registered customers can enter and save their card details, then simply
click the pay button each time a parcel delivery is booked.
Parcel2Go.com’s business development director, Richard Adams-Mercer, has introduced
the service to enable customers to quickly book parcel deliveries without repeatedly
needing to enter credit or debit card details.
“We’ve seen a big rise in customers registering on our website because of their
dissatisfaction with Royal Mail, so we’ve been looking at ways to offer a more efficient
service. This key area emerged in our customer research so we’ve responded accordingly,”
he said.
He was keen to emphasise that Parcel2Go.com does not store any sensitive information
about customer credit cards. “Card details are stored with our card processing company.
They are Payment
Card Industry (PCI) compliant to the very highest enterprise level industry
standards,” he added.
“The only information Parcel2Go.com stores is the last 4 digits on a card, the expiry
date and the nickname given to a card, such as ‘my main card’. This is so that
customers can easily identify individual cards.”
How do I use this service?
- Register as a user on the
Parcel2Go.com website (registration is free)
- Once you log in, click on ‘My Cards’ in
the left hand menu, then click ‘Add a card’ and complete the form
- From ‘My Cards’, you can add, edit and remove card details too
- Alternatively, if you are registered and logged in when booking a delivery, you
can add a new card on the final payment page.
