Parcel2Go now offers UK Mail service
UK Mail, formerly known as Business Post Group, is now available as part of Parcel2Go's
offering, giving customers an even wider choice of couriers when sending their mail.
With a national network of more than 50 sites and a fleet of 3,500 vehicles, UK
Mail prides itself on taking an unique, integrated approach to a range of secure
a price-sensitive delivery options.
The company works together with partners like Parcelforce and DHL, offering flexible,
next-day delivery options and where possible will give customers a timed collection
slot so they can make the best use of their time.
In 2008, UK Mail launched imail, a national alternative to the first class postal
services designed for all customers, from large corporations to private individuals.
The service allows users to send physical mail direct from their computer for next-day
delivery throughout the country, lowering the cost of producing and posting first
class items while also cutting the carbon footprint of a letter.
"With the launch of imail we have created the first alternative to first class mail,
providing a real choice to customers within the UK," commented Guy Buswell, chief
executive of Business Post Group, when the service was launched in November 2008.
"imail represents an important part of our business strategy and will expand our
mail business far beyond its existing offering."
This was followed in March this year by a new black and white option for double-sided
letters, increasing savings further.
Parcel2Go is pleased to make UK Mail services, which include collection and next-day
delivery from as little as £9.99, available to its customers.
