Parcel2Go.com sponsors STR Honda motocross team

Parcel2Go.com has pledged its backing for STR Honda, a flourishing young motocross race team embarking on only its second season of racing.

STR Honda team manager, Steve Turner, is a former rider. When injury struck in May 2007, he decided to pursue his dream of running his own British Championship race team. Welcoming new Team Sponsor Parcel2Go.com on board, he said they would be “significant in helping us to raise the bar in terms of results this year”.

Richard Adams-Mercer, Parcel2Go.com’s business development director, responded enthusiastically. “We are proud to sponsor the STR Honda team in 2009,” he said.

“The team aspires to develop and encourage talented young riders and give them the opportunity to compete nationally at the highest level, a philosophy we support wholeheartedly.

“We look forward to seeing riders Nathan and Jordan achieving their full potential in 2009.”

Richard has been a motocross fan for many years, explaining that it is one of the few professional sports to immerse spectators in the action, allowing them to get within inches of the top riders as they thunder around demanding circuits.
