Parcel2Go.com to launch delivery service for large parcels for just £14.99
Parcel2Go.com bosses have revealed that a new service for delivering large parcels
will be added to their website in March, with prices starting at just £14.99 + VAT.
The firm’s business development director, Richard Adams-Mercer, announced that the
new service will be operated by parcel delivery partner Home Delivery Network (HDNL).
“Home Delivery Network’s highly regarded services already include some great features,
like evening and Saturday collections,” said Richard Adams-Mercer.
“Now they are also offering a service for delivering the large parcels which many
other carriers shun or charge the earth for, yet Parcel2Go.com will be doing this
for just £14.99 + VAT.”
Parcels can have a maximum weight of 30kg, a maximum dimension down any one side
of 8 feet (2.44m) and a maximum overall parcel size of 12 cubic feet (use
Parcel2Go.com’s UK Volume Calculator to check this).
“With our competitive pricing, this is a particularly cost-effective option for
online retailers despatching to customers’ homes and for eBay sellers. And with
free online parcel tracking,
you can keep an eye on the progress of your large consignment,” he added.
Collections for the large parcel service will typically be between 7am and 7pm weekdays
and parcels will be delivered within 1-3 working days throughout most of the UK
mainland.
